Large Size Womens Shoes: No Longer an Endangered SpeciesIronically enough, it's when a woman goes out shopping for special shoes that she ends up with aching feet. Women with needs that are above the norm have a particularly hard time scouting for footwear that will meet their specific requirements. Women with flat feet, for example, need to find shoes that come with comfortable specialized insoles. Women with slightly larger feet must scour the town for large size womens shoes. And even if these women find shoes that match their needs, they don't exactly have a lot of designs to choose from! You will need patience to find the perfect shoes. But in the case of large size womens shoes, it is so much harder to have patience because the act of shopping itself could become so frustrating. Design matters, and the make of the shoes as well, since women need shoes for many different occasions. And while women with large sized feet would get away with wearing men's size shoes under normal circumstances, one can't very well attend a dress ball wearing men's shoes! The only alternatives for women with not enough time to shop are 1) settling for a shoe size that "will do," but does not quite match the wardrobe, 2) settling for gorgeous, smaller size shoes, and 3) not going to the ball at all! "The better a shoe looks, the worse it feels," some say. And perhaps nobody knows this better than women with larger sized feet. Quite a few chic girls deliberately wear shoes that are half a size or even one size smaller, in order to make their feet look more petite. But women with larger sized feet may sometimes wear smaller sized shoes because they have no choice - those shoes have the best design, even if they don't come in larger sizes. In some cases, they may even opt to wear men's shoes, for the sake of comfort. What about every woman's right to shoes, as someone from Sex and the City once asked? Fortunately, more and more shoe manufacturers are seeing the benefits of catering to the large size womens shoes market, so shopping need not be as tedious as it used to be. |
