Do you remember Jellies? Well, if you don’t, they were very comfortable shoes in varying ‘clear type’ colors, made of a very flexible ‘jelly type’ of material. They were all the rage in the ‘80’s. Today, they are no longer in style, but clear narrow shoes, which are similar in some ways, are definitely in style. If you haven’t added a pair of clear narrow shoes to your shoe collection, you need to hop down to your favorite shoe store, or surf to your favorite online shoe store, and purchase a pair!
There is a wide variety of clear shoes to choose from. The soles of the shoes are commonly solid, and of varying materials and colors, but the top of the shoe is clear and usually made of vinyl or plastic. Vinyl is the most comfortable. Paint will be the ideal material to use, but you must also use some type of clear coat to keep it from chipping, and you may have to do the stenciling job over often. Permanent markers will work well also, and may be preferred as long as the marker works well on the clear material of the shoe. This is a great way to have a unique pair of shoes that nobody else has in their collection.
